Founder and Owner

Angel Shaw, founder and lead therapist at Hearts of Light Counseling & Consulting, is dedicated to helping clients navigate life’s challenges and build fulfilling, resilient relationships. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and National Certified Counselor, Angel brings over eight years of expertise in guiding individuals and couples through relational grief, stress management, and other relational concerns. With a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of North Texas and a background as a certified bilingual educator, she brings a compassionate, practical approach to her practice.

 

In her work, Angel blends Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Gottman principles to provide clients with clear, effective strategies for healing and personal growth. Hearts of Light offers a range of services, including individual therapy, couples counseling, and relational grief support. The practice also provides Life Guide Coaching to address communication issues, intimacy struggles, and recovery from divorce or relationship loss. Angel’s mission is to support clients in achieving healthy, satisfying lives by helping them overcome obstacles and reach their goals.
